Unopened Products

  • Timeframe: Refund and cancelation requests must be submitted within 3 days of our signed agreement
  • Refund Amount: Full refund minus original shipping cost & restocking fee
  • Customer responsible for: return shipping costs & restocking fee

Opened/Used Products

  • Limited Refunds: Opened epoxy products generally cannot be returned due to contamination risk and shelf life considerations
  • Exceptions: Refunds may be considered if product is demonstrably defective or does not meet published specifications
  • Documentation Required: Photos, application details, and proof of proper mixing/application procedures

Specific Conditions

Products Eligible for Refund

  • Unopened epoxy resins, hardeners, and additives in original packaging
  • Unopened tools and equipment purchased from Galaxy Epoxy Coating
  • Products that arrive damaged during shipping (must be reported within 48 hours)
  • Products that are demonstrably defective or do not meet published specifications

Products NOT Eligible for Refund

  • Custom-mixed or specially ordered products
  • Epoxy products that have been opened, mixed, or partially used
  • Products damaged due to improper storage or handling
  • Products past their expiration date
  • Clearance or discontinued items (unless defective)
  • Digital products, training materials, or consultation services

Defective Product Claims

Reporting Process

  • Contact Galaxy Epoxy Coating within 7 days of discovering the defect
  • Provide photos and detailed description of the issue
  • Allow Galaxy Epoxy Coating to investigate the claim

Resolution Options

  • Replacement product of equal value
  • Store credit for future purchases
  • Full refund (if replacement is not possible)
  • Technical support to resolve application issues

Custom Orders and Special Products

  • Custom Mixed Products: No returns accepted unless product is defective
  • Special Orders: Subject to supplier return policies; restocking fees may apply
  • Bulk Orders: Partial returns may be considered on case-by-case basis

Return Shipping

  • Customer assumes risk of loss during return shipping

Restocking Fees

  • Standard Products: 15% restocking fee on approved returns
  • Special Orders: Up to 25% restocking fee may apply
  • No Restocking Fee: Defective products or Galaxy Epoxy Coating errors

Exchanges

  • Product exchanges accepted within same timeframe as returns – before any work is done.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways (unless defective product)
  • All price differences must be settled and agreed upon before exchange completion

Store Credit

  • Store credit may be offered in lieu of cash refund
  • Store credit valid for 12 months from issue date
  • Store credit non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash

Shipping Damage

  • Contact Galaxy Epoxy Coating immediately with details and photos

Resolution

  • No cost to customer for shipping damage replacements
  • Requests will be responded to within 10 business days
